IThe beginning
Roots in Morbi, India
Our story began in Morbi, India, where the family first set up its base and began blending perfumes and attars. It was here that the foundations of the craft were laid — the respect for fine ingredients, the patience it takes to make a lasting fragrance, and the trust of the people we served.

Migration to Karachi, Pakistan
With the separation and the great migration that followed, the family moved to Karachi, Pakistan. They left much behind, but carried with them what mattered most: their knowledge, their recipes and their name.

Al Afnan & Al Saad are founded
Around thirty years ago the family set the base of Al Afnan as its own perfume house, alongside its brother company Al Saad. Together they gave the family’s generations of experience a modern home and a name customers could recognise.

As the business was handed down, each generation built on the work of the last. What began as a single base grew into branches, bringing Al Afnan fragrances to more and more people.
